2020 FOSSCR Conference -
New Orleans, Louisiana and SIMULCAST
EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION EXTENDED THROUGH AUGUST 7!

Thank you all for your patience and understanding while we navigated these coronavirus-infested waters and determined whether and how to safely move forward with this year’s FOSSCR conference hosted in New Orleans. After reviewing your survey responses and through conversations with you, we have received enough interest to hold the 2020 FOSSCR conference on September 25th & 26th at the Hilton Riverside Hotel in New Orleans. The conference will also simultaneously be available virtually for those wishing to attend, but not able to travel to the conference site. We will have both in-person and remote speakers. We have reviewed 2020 CLE attendance requirements and all FOSSCR state bar associations allow all online CLE in 2020.

2020 CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

Early Bird conference registration is $290.00 - EXTENDED until August 7, 2020. Thereafter, registration will be $325.00. Cost is identical for online and simulcast registration; during the ticketing process, you will be asked to choose whether you will be attending in person or online. Conference Registration can be done online:
FOSSCR 2020 Conference Registration.

2020 HOTEL RESERVATIONS

Hotel reservations must be booked by August 25, 2020 to reserve at the conference rate of $199/night at the Hilton Riverside Hotel either by phone at (504)-561-0500 or online for the nights of September 24th and 25th, 2020. Check-in time: 4:00 PM. Check-out time: 11:00 AM.

The Hilton Riverside is working diligently to ensure that our guests and team members are as safe as possible during the FOSSCR conference. For everyone who will be joining us in New Orleans, please follow the links for information provided by our hotel regarding enhanced business practices that the Hilton is following to provide a safe environment. Additionally, you can review the current state of New Orleans COVID infections at the NOLAREADY COVID dashboard which is continuously updated. NOLAREADY is a valuable resource for the current phasing and required mitigation practices in New Orleans.

Further Updates

We will continue to update our Facebook page and this site with conference and CLE information as it becomes available. Barbara Silverstone has agreed to attend and present the news from Congress and NOSSCR and we are beginning our work to secure speakers, vendors and CLE credit. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any speaker topic suggestions or sponsorship opportunities. Additionally, if you know of any practitioners that would be interested in attending our conference, please forward this information so that that individual can notify us that he or she wishes to be added to our roster.
